Current research interests of the faculty are the study and development of tests for checking misspecification in hypothesized models, mathematical underpinning of problems in information theory, nonparametric curve estimation based on kernels as well as wavelets, quantifying and developing tests for symmetry in density and regression functions, mathematical statistics related to survival/reliability analysis, nonparametric life-testing, longitudinal data analysis, risk prediction, and model diagnosis.
