Statistics

The research interests of the statistics faculty at Mississippi State University include topics in applied and theoretical statistics, as well as applied and theoretical probability and data science. The majority of their work is driven by practical problems across a spectrum of disciplines, including, but not limited to, modeling financial and climatological data, linear and response surface modeling in agriculture and veterinary sciences, and various engineering fields. Their work also addresses important questions arising in data science, such as data integration, data quality, dimension reduction, and more.
