Title: Measures for Nonstationary Dynamical Systems
Physical Location
Allen Hall 411
Abstract: While classical thermodynamic formalism focuses on time-invariant maps, many physical and biological processes are inherently nonstationary. This talk presents recent results on constructing equilibrium states for systems where the underlying dynamics may change over time. Specifically, we will demonstrate how to construct eigendata for nonstationary transfer operators by employing two complementary approaches: the Hilbert metric on convex function cones and a nonstationary Carathéodory dimension structure.
