My research concerns numerical methods for partial differential equations, particularly finite element methods and discontinuous Galerkin methods. Recently, I've been working on immersed finite element methods for interface problems, including the following aspects.
1. Algorithm Development: develop accurate and robust numerical schemes for partial differential equations.
2. Error Analysis: conduct rigorous a priori and a posteriori error estimation, superconvergence analysis.
3. Implementation: write codes to execute numerical algorithms and do numerical experiments.
4. Applications: apply numerical schemes for simulations in engineering.
