Using Mathematica  to demystify your favorite calculus book,
a case study on Descartes, Mississippi bugs, and more

The goal of the lecture is to make sense of its title and to tear apart your calculus textbook. This will require fifty plus epsilon minutes, with epsilon to be determined later, but not larger than ten. Only basic calculus up to curves in the plane and polar coordinates will enter the scene.
